Born out of a bunch of songs written in a bedroom somewhere in the vibrant warehousing district of London’s Manor House comes Bleach Blood. This is Jamie’s compiled love of 70′s (post) punk, dance, electronica and pop music.
Along with the thundering beats of Invisible Frank, Charlie Elliot’s synthed up bass lines and touring guitarist Paul Mullen’s math psych guitars, expect honest songs about love, loss, escapism, friendship and whatever else falls out of their collective heads.
This is Bleach Blood… Pleased to meet you.
Lionface is the pseudonym for Bristol’s alt-pop rising star Kat Marsh, who some may recognise as the charismatic bass-player and backing vocalist for the now defunct London punks The King Blues.
With three bold releases under her belt, multiple spins on BBC Introducing, XFM and Amazing Radio and rave reviews across the blogosphere, Lionface is bringing her self-proclaimed 'battle pop' to the masses. A blinding 2014 saw Lionface take her captivating live show on tour across the UK, with appearances at several major festivals (including Blissfields and Dot to Dot) along the way.
Led by Kat’s compelling vocal, new double A-side Girl/Stronger is full-on indie electro pop aural assault. Girl took the internet by storm with a Clash video premiere, hitting Hype Machine's front page and racking up thousands of views in the first week.
The end of 2014 sees Lionface back in the studio working on new material with long time producer Peter Miles [Dry The River, We Are The Ocean, The Skints]. Catch this emerging alt-pop gem on tour in 2015.
